Turkey’s rising graphic in global economy reflected on the oral and dental health sector!
The Sector realized half of its annual export during IDEX!
 The
purchasers flock into IDEX Istanbul Oral and Dental Health Apparatus and
Equipment Exhibition, which is the world’s 3rd biggest exhibition in its sector.
The purchasers coming from Europe, the Balkans, Middle East, North Africa and
Russia, placed substantial amounts of orders from the participating companies.
The business volume occurred made the sector representatives happy. The
companies doubled their orders compared to the previous exhibition. The
organization between April 05 – 08, 2012 was visited by 8,610 professionals of
which 588 were foreigners.
The success Turkey, which is the promising country of the world economy with its
economical stability, get in various sectors in exportation reflected on oral
and dental health sector as well. During IDEX Exhibition, organized by CNR Ekspo
Fuarcilik, a CNR Holding company, and sponsored by DISSIAD (Dental Materials and
Industrialist and Businessmen’s Association), the orders received by the
companies constituted an amount which is half of their annual export.IDEX
attracted great attention from abroad
Purchasers from a great number of countries, which include primarily
Bulgaria, Macedonia, Tunisia, Lebanon, Italy, Iran, Iraq, Russia and Kazakhstan,
visited the exhibition. The participating companies had very positive business
meetings with the purchasers.

Akyol: a 25 million dollar business volume occurred!
Yuksel Aksoy, DISSIAD Chairman of the Board, stated that Turkey’s annual
exportation amount in oral and dental health equipment is 50 million dollars and
praised IDEX’s success. “This year the exhibition contributed to our export
exorbitantly. Our participants got orders over 25 million dollars. The sector’s
volume in our country is 170 billion dollars. At IDEX, a business volume of 20%
of the sector’s trade was occurred,” said Akyol.
This year was the 11th anniversary of IDEX Istanbul Oral and Dental Health
Apparatus and Equipment Exhibition and it grew by 3 time compared to the
previous one. There were almost more than 1,000 participants on 20 thousand m2
area. During the contest within the exhibition, Geveze, famous showman from the
television and the radio, gave a lot of presents, like smart phones, tablet PCs,
notebooks, cameras and LED TVs, to the dentists and dental technicians. |
